Shipping & delivery

Our prices do not include delivery costs. All orders can be picked up at our store or shipped to all countries within the European Union.

At this time we only ship to business addresses in the UK. Please contact us at hello@thecorner.studio for further information and shipping quote. 

Worldwide shipping is available for all our pieces. Please request a shipping quote.

For furniture and other items international shipping is not available at this time. 

Orders are processed Monday through Friday excluding national holidays. Most orders ship within 5 or 7 working days of purchase. However, shipping times may vary due to availability of merchandise. Orders will not be delivered on the weekends or national holidays. All orders include tracking number. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages or packages delayed by DHL.

Once an order is placed we cannot make any changes or cancellations prior to shipping.

The shipping costs vary depending on the weight and on the shipping area.

International shipping

For international purchases, we ship by DHL. They typically deliver within 4-15 days from leaving our warehouse, but we endeavour to send all orders by the quickest route. This international service includes tracking number.

Time of delivery is not of the essence in this Agreement. We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits or other financial loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable delay or delay due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the reasonable control of The Corner or delay due to any reasonable rescheduling of delivery.

International and over-sized orders will incur an additional charge. Any applicable duties and taxes will be assessed upon delivery, to be paid by the order recipient for international purchases. 

Shipping rates are calculated based on product weights. Large items, even if they are lightweight, incur higher shipping costs due to the volume of the shipping box. All furniture and breakable items are only shipped on a pallet.

International taxes & duties

Please note that custom fees and any taxes or duties associated with your purchase are the responsibility of the customer. These taxes and duties are not included in your purchase price. Please refer to your local postal office for rates or expected duties and taxes.  Customs authorities require us to state the value of the item directly on the package. Delivery charges are calculated by volumetric weight, and are shown at the time of order. 

Returns

If you would like to return your item(s) for exchange or refund, please send an email within 48 hours to hello@thecorner.studio.Once your email is confirmed, you will receive the address to send your return to. Items sent back without authorization may not be accepted for a refund or exchange.

You have 14 days from the reception of your order to exchange or return your item(s). 

All returns must include proof of purchase in the form of a receipt of shipping slip.

We only accept returned items new and unused with brand tags attached. Items will be only accepted if in their original box.

If an item is received damaged please notify us within five working days of the receipt of your order. This is necessary for us to be able to enter a claim with the shipper and refund you. We also need clear pictures of the damaged item and pictures of the inside and outside of the box or pallet for our shippers. Without these pictures we are unable to issue a refund.

Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.

If an item is broken or damaged during the return shipment this is the responsibility of the buyer and they will need to take this up with the carrier they used for the return. We cannot issue a refund for items returned broken or damaged.

Within a period of 10 working days from the moment we received your package in our warehouse, the refund will be arranged.

The refund will be made through the same payment method used for the purchase and does not include shipping costs outgoing shipping costs or return shipping costs.

Please take extra care to read the specific care instructions. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. We may require evidence - e.g photographs to validate that a product is faulty. We strongly recommend that you insure your return and get proof of delivery in case your package gets lost in transit.

At this moment we are unable to accommodate in-store returns or exchanges for purchases made online. Online purchases can only be exchanged online via our returns link.

As a small business we would be very grateful if you take careful consideration when purchasing our items online. . Most items are unique pieces and artisanal or antique in nature. They require careful packing and are extremely time consuming to expedite. Unlike large companies we are unable to accommodate a large number of returns so please be thoughtful and sure of your purchase before going ahead.

Please note that the customer is responsible for paying for shipping back to us. Feel free to reach out to hello@thecorner.studio to get set up with the return process.

We do not issue refunds on items that have not been picked up by the buyer and are then returned to us. Please ensure you follow the tracking link that has been sent to you by email to ensure you that you know where your order is and when it is to be delivered to you.

Cushions

Our cushions are all hand crafted. They are made with hand spun cotton which is hand woven on a traditional loom and then hand dyed with natural dyes or are made with vintage fabrics. Due to this there will always be slight variations in the weave and the exact colours of the cushions. No two cushions are identical. Please take this into consideration before purchasing our cushions. Variation in colour and texture is inherent to this hand made product and add to the unique character and beauty of our product.

Lost packages

If your package is lost in transit, please email us right away at hello@thecorner.studio and we will try our best to solve the issue. Please note that The Corner is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Sale

Items purchased during sales can only be returned in exchange for a voucher with the value of the purchased amount.

We do not offer a refund on these final sales. The voucher is valid for six months and can only be used on our web shop. 

Gifts

Gifts can be exchanged within 14 days of purchase only if accompanied by a proof of purchase. Please send an email within 48 hours to hello@thecorner.studio if you would like to exchange your gift.

Gift cards are non-returnable, and non-refundable.

Custom orders

We do create custom pieces to order so please send an email to hello@thecorner.studio with your request and we will get back to you.

There are no returns or exchanges on custom made pieces.

All custom work is made to order and is not refundable or returnable under any circumstances.

In addition an order with a quantity of 20 or more is considered a special order and final sale. It will not be eligible for cancellations, returns, exchanges or refunds.
