Antique Bronze Jug N° 4

This vintage metal jug comes from Shanxi province in China, where vessels of this kind were traditionally used to store tung oil for household lamps.

Its elongated shape and distinctive curved handle give the piece a strong, sculptural presence. The dark surface has developed a beautifully aged patina over time, with subtle irregularities and traces of use that make each jug unique.

Today, it makes a striking decorative object, displayed on its own or grouped with other vessels.

Signs of age, wear and variations in the patina are part of the character and history of each piece and are not considered flaws.
