Ceramic vase N° 44

These sculptural vases are hand-built in my studio using textured brown and black clays. Each piece has its own quiet presence, but they were imagined as a family — meant to be grouped in pairs or small trios, where their differing heights and silhouettes speak to one another.

Their surfaces are left raw and tactile, revealing the natural grain of the clay and the traces of the making process. These are decorative objects, conceived as small architectural forms for a shelf, a console or a quiet corner of a room. They are not intended for water or flowers; instead they stand on their own as simple, grounded shapes that bring a sense of calm and materiality to a space.
