Borana Basket N°33

The Borana basket from Kenya is hand carved from a single piece of wood and was traditionally used for carrying milk. Each basket is a one-of-a-kind vintage piece, increasingly rare and harder to find.

It bears the traces of time and use, with natural marks and imperfections that speak of its history. These details are part of its character and are not considered flaws.

To care for this piece, wipe gently with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking in water or exposing it to strong detergents, as this may damage the wood. Place away from direct heat sources to preserve its form and patina.
