Antique glazed pot N° 315

A beautiful vintage Chinese ceramic pot with a rounded, generous form and rich dark brown glaze. The vessel rests on a raised hollow pedestal with a small opening, a feature found on traditional Chinese vessels designed for warming or ventilation.

The deep, irregular glaze varies from warm chestnut to almost black, with subtle traces of the handmade process visible across the surface. Its simple sculptural silhouette and beautifully aged finish make it a striking decorative object in a contemporary interior.

As with all vintage and handmade pieces, variations, irregularities and traces of age are part of the character and history of the object.
