Antique ceramic pot N° 12
Antique ceramic pot N° 12
A small utilitarian Chinese stoneware jar, dating from the late Qing dynasty to the early 20th century.
Originally made for everyday use, these vessels would have been used to store small quantities of food, oils, pigments, or medicinal ingredients. The squat, rounded form and coarse clay reflect their functional purpose, while the softly worn surface bears the marks of time, handling, and firing.
Each piece has developed a natural patina, with subtle variations in tone and texture shaped by use rather than decoration.
This item will show some imperfections consistent with use and age which add to it’s beauty and are not considered as flaws.
Dimensions: H 8 cm x D 13 cm.
Care: Dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
