Antique ceramic bowl N° 8 - Ming

Antique ceramic bowl from China, dating to the Ming dynasty (1368–1644).

This bowl has lost its original surface finish over time, revealing the raw clay beneath. Mineral deposits and sea-worn sediment remain attached in places, creating a layered, tactile surface that speaks of age and exposure.

The shape is balanced and confident, yet softened by centuries of wear. Surface marks, small losses and irregular edges are inherent to its authenticity.

Best suited for decorative use. A piece with weight and quiet authority — striking alone or grouped with other time-worn ceramics.

Each piece is entirely unique.
